Charles County Freedom Landing has strived to provide a full range of services to assist adults with persistent emotional disorders. Our services are designed to assist each individual in building upon their inherent strength in developing and enhancing the skills needed for optimal living in today's society.

We believe and practice the fundamental principles of psychiatric rehabilitation by: addressing the unique needs of each individual, helping to re-establish normal roles and reintegration into community life, facilitating the development of personal support networks, facilitating and enhancing quality of life for each person receiving services. Most importantly, we believe that each individual should be treated with respect and dignity, has the ability to learn and grow, and should play an important role in their personal recovery.

Charles County Freedom Landing's services are funded through Medical Assistance, fees, funding from the Behavioral Health Administration of the Maryland Department of Health, special grants, donations and other funding sources as available.  Fees for services are minimal and a sliding fee scale is used based on individual needs.  Medicaid recipients are covered up to 100% of costs.
